Diablo 4 Barbarian Build Guide: Leveling to Endgame in Season 14 Patch 3.1.3

Priorities while leveling

Use a reliable mix of area damage, single-target damage, mobility, defense, and Fury generation. Barbarian damage is sensitive to weapon upgrades, so do not keep a much weaker weapon only for a minor secondary affix. When survivability falls behind, fix Resistances, Armor, Maximum Life, recovery, and damage reduction before stacking another offensive stat.

When to switch to endgame

Make the transition after the required Unique or Aspect is available and the main rotation can sustain Fury and cooldowns. Favor movement and area clear for farming, repeatable single-target output for bosses, and defense plus mechanical consistency for the Pit. Use gear upgrades for slot decisions and the boss lookup for target farming.

Patch 3.1.3 cautions

The 3.1 series changed not only class balance but also guaranteed Unique affixes, Enchanting, and Mythic crafting. Troubleshooting the transition
