Diablo 4 Season 14 High-Tier Pit Guide: Stable Clears vs Pushes in Patch 3.1.3

The Pit supports Glyph upgrades, Torment unlocks, and high-tier limit testing. Routine upgrade farming and a maximum-tier push need different tuning. In Season 14, Patch 3.1.3, establish a tier you can clear reliably inside the timer, improve Glyphs and gear there, and raise the tier in small steps.

Stable farming and pushing are different jobs

For Glyph experience, use a tier where deaths and long boss fights do not erase the time gained by selecting a higher number. For a personal-best push, trade some speed for repeatable single-target damage and defense, and accept variation from monsters and bosses. A historical fixed tier or class ranking is not a live guarantee.

Diagnose where the run fails

1. If normal packs consume the timer, inspect area damage, movement, grouping, and resource flow.
2. If only the boss is slow, inspect single-target multipliers, Vulnerable or Critical uptime, and attack windows.
3. If incoming spikes kill the build, fix Resistance caps, Armor, Maximum Life, and damage reduction.
4. If recovery fails, inspect Barrier, Fortify, healing, and their actual uptime—not only Potion count.
5. Change one cause, then repeat the same tier to test it.

Completion bubble after Patch 3.1.2

Patch 3.1.2 restored the end-of-run Invulnerability bubble. It appears immediately when no Whisper Ambush triggers. When an Ambush spawns, the bubble remains suppressed until that boss is killed. If the bubble is missing after completion, first check for the active Ambush encounter.

Use observed runs, not promised ceilings

A reliable lower tier can outperform repeated failures for Glyph progression. Raise the tier after an upgrade and keep push-only changes separate from the everyday farming setup. Judge by your clear time and deaths rather than unpublished enemy-health values, drop rates, or permanent class rankings.
