Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent Daily Routine Guide
This is a guide for Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. Most quests are done, and daily routines have become repetitive, so I'd like to list the tasks as a memo. I've assigned priorities, but these are purely my subjective opinion. Since everyone's goals may differ, please use this as a reference.
Essential Daily Checklist
For now, I've also included checking automatically sent mail.
| Item | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Check Announcements/Letters | Check for Rubies and event information |
| Daily/Weekly Tasks | Apart from buying 3 pieces of equipment, completing daily tasks is generally sufficient. |
| Conquest Missions |
Normal and Advanced missions reset daily at 4 AM. The best reward is obtaining the Guiding Shards of the characters used. Excellent experience efficiency. You can also get items for star-ups. |
Basically, I think the above are important. Especially checking messages for rubies and Conquest Missions. For free-to-play or low-spending players, Guiding Shards for 5-star characters are very valuable. If you spend a lot, you could probably just exchange fragments for gold Guiding Shards. If you can spend that much, you'd also have Level-Up Berries and other items, so you'd likely only have achievements left to complete.
List for Seeking Strength
You can also complete this list to help achieve your daily tasks. This allows you to gradually increase stats like Influence, Achievements, and Weapon Enhancement.
| Item | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Weapon Enhancement Material Farming |
|
| Tour of Nameless Town / Nameless Wilds | For exchanging Reminiscence Fragments. |
| Touring Each Town's Weapon Shop | Execute Field Commands (for achievements). Experience/Money items |
| Battle-tested Equipment | Farm for second or more copies |
| Arena NPC Rematches | Tikilen (inside Arena) Can rematch Glossom (in front of Victor Hollow Weapon Shop) Collect Guiding Fragments. Exchange for Guiding Shards and exclusive items. |
That's about it. If you still have quests or Field Commands for townspeople remaining, I recommend prioritizing those.
By the way, the drop rate for "Battle-tested Equipment" isn't very good, so if you get too into it, you might not get one for several hours. It's best to moderate your farming.
