Glints of Hope, Pandemonium Fragments, and Reputation Guide

QUICK ANSWER

Seal Pandemonium Ruptures for Glints of Hope, then claim rewards at the Seasonal Reputation Board in Zarbinzet or Temis. The live board has 24 ranks, followed by a repeatable reward that guarantees one Pandemonium Fragment and also contains Superior Lair Keys. Fragments also come from sources such as the Corrupted Reaper; Lord of Hatred owners can spend four in the Horadric Cube to craft a Mythic Unique.

Five Steps to Earn Glints of Hope

5
STEP 01

1. Advance the Seasonal Introduction

Advance the Season of Death Awakening introduction on the Seasonal Realm until Pandemonium Ruptures and the reputation board are available. This seasonal reputation is not progressed on the Eternal Realm.

STEP 02

2. Prioritize Pandemonium Ruptures

Travel to a Pandemonium Rupture on the map. When one appears in Helltide, overlap the run with Cinders, Whispers, and other goals to reduce travel overhead.

STEP 03

3. Build the Rupture Before Closing

Keep the Rupture open while clearing enemies and Reaper Tears to improve its reward. Live guides also observe reputation gains from kills and Tears, but the exact contribution can be tuned, so treat the in-game progress display as authoritative.

4. Seal the Rupture to Secure Glints

Seal the Rupture before leaving. Blizzard's explicit, dependable Glints route is closing Pandemonium Ruptures, so do not abandon the activity before completion.

5. Claim Reputation Rewards

Claim earned ranks at the board in Zarbinzet. Patch 3.1.1 also added the reputation board to Temis, so use whichever location fits your current route.

How the Reputation Board Is Structured

The Live Board Has 24 Ranks

Current live guides show 24 one-time ranks. Use the in-game board for exact Glints requirements so later tuning does not leave you following a stale threshold table.

Early Ranks Supply Gear and Progression

Early ranks supply weapon and armor caches, currencies such as Gold, and experience. Claim them while leveling so each reward can support the next Rupture run.

Later Ranks Add Upgrade and Lair Rewards

Later ranks move into Masterworking materials, Mystery Archetype rewards, and Lair-related caches. Do not assume fixed contents across every cache; verify the claim preview in game.

Rank 24 Leads Into a Repeatable Reward

After the final one-time Resplendent reward, additional Glints can be turned in for the final repeatable reward. This becomes a dependable late-season supply route for Fragments and keys.

Final Repeatable Reward: One Guaranteed

Since patch 3.1.1, the final repeatable Glints of Hope reward guarantees one Pandemonium Fragment. It is the documented deterministic route after the one-time board is complete.

Corrupted Reaper: Up to Two

The Corrupted Reaper drops up to two Fragments, scaling with Torment. Up to two does not mean two are guaranteed at every tier.

Board Ranks and Resplendent Caches

The Seasonal Reputation Board and Resplendent Caches are also official Fragment sources. Their per-rank quantities and chances are not treated here as fixed guarantees.

Rupture Sealing Can Also Award Fragments

The official season overview says sealing Ruptures can yield additional Fragments. With no published guarantee or rate, treat this as an extra opportunity rather than the deterministic repeatable-board reward.

The Repeatable Cache Also Supplies Superior Keys

The July 21 server hotfix added Superior Lair Keys to the final repeatable cache. Blizzard did not publish a quantity, so do not build a farming estimate around a fixed key count.

Spend Superior Keys on the Reaper Hoard

In Torment I or higher, spend a Superior Lair Key to open the Hoard after defeating the Corrupted Reaper. It is not a summon cost, so the encounter itself can start without one.

Convert Four Fragments Into a Mythic Unique

At level 70 in Torment, place an item-power-850-or-higher Unique and four Pandemonium Fragments in the Horadric Cube to convert it into a Mythic Unique for the same equipment slot.

Separate Base-Game and Expansion Uses

Base-game players can earn reputation and Fragments and chase direct Reaper drops. The four-Fragment Cube conversion requires Lord of Hatred and its Horadric Cube unlock.

While Leveling: Overlap With Helltide

Instead of crossing the map for a Rupture alone, overlap Helltide, Whispers, and gear upgrades. Prioritize claiming the one-time reputation ranks early.

Before Completion: Finish the 24 Ranks

Collect the unclaimed gear, materials, and Resplendent reward to unlock the repeatable turn-in. Read exact requirements from the current board rather than an external table.

After Completion: Loop the Guaranteed Fragment

Treat the repeatable Glints cache as deterministic Fragment income. After the hotfix it also replenishes Superior Keys, feeding directly into Reaper runs.

For Mythics: Split Direct Drops and Conversion

Use keys on the Reaper for direct Mythic chances. Expansion owners targeting same-slot conversion should reserve four Fragments and switch activities according to current key and Fragment supplies.

CAUTION

Common Mistakes

5
  • Do not confuse Glints of Hope with Pandemonium Fragments: Glints progress reputation, while Fragments are reward and drop materials.
  • Do not assign a fixed Superior Key count to the final repeatable cache; the addition is official, but the quantity is unpublished.
  • Do not use pre-3.1.1 reports of missing repeatable-cache Fragments as the live rule; one Fragment is now guaranteed.
  • Do not treat Glints thresholds, hourly rates, or per-enemy contributions as permanent values; prioritize the current in-game board.
  • Do not imply that base-game ownership includes Horadric Cube conversion; that Fragment use requires Lord of Hatred.
