Paragon Board, Glyph, and Point Allocation Guide
Build a route from main-skill tags, Legendary Nodes, Glyph sockets, stat thresholds, and defensive gaps instead of copying board names. Expansion-inclusive builds are primary; base-game-only choices replace the same roles.
Take nearby damage and survival on the starting board, then reach a consistently active Legendary Node and Glyph socket. Do not spread across five boards too early: activate Glyph requirements, cover Life, Armor, and Resistances, then buy peripheral damage. Upgrade Glyphs in the Pit and recheck tags after skill or gear changes.
Five Decisions before Spending
5Lock the Main Skill and Tags
Read the post-variant element, category, direct or damage-over-time, and summon tags in game.
Choose One Missing Role
Choose pack damage, boss damage, Resource, Life, Armor, or Resistance as the first problem to repair.
Compare Legendary Nodes and Sockets
Compare activation, uptime, travel-point cost, and attributes inside the Glyph radius rather than names.
Remove Gear Overlap
Check roles already supplied by gear, Aspects, and Talisman, then spend Paragon on the shortage.
Record the Current Route
Record boards, rotation, attachments, Glyphs, and key nodes before respec so the comparison is reversible.
Decision Checks
5Starting Board and First Socket
Establish reliable damage and survival with few points.
Check main stat, Life, defense, shortest socket route, and Glyph secondary requirement.
Activate the socket and secondary condition before distant peripheral nodes.
Stop when many attributes do not activate the Glyph condition.
Use tags after the third variant and Talisman.
Match tags available through base-game variants and gear.
Board Attachment, Rotation, and Legendary Nodes
Use the five-board limit for consistently active roles.
Count points from the gate to the Legendary Node or socket and read Rare Node thresholds.
Use the finished route as a reference but prioritize the shortest active nodes at current points.
Stop when the board name matches but its Legendary Node cannot trigger for the build.
Boards activated by expansion gear and Talisman may be primary.
Replace it with a base-game board serving the same damage or survival role.
Glyph Choice and Radius Conditions
Reliably activate a secondary effect that directly supports the main skill.
Read affected node types, required attributes, secondary effect, current rank, and radius.
Level an easy direct benefit first, moving to conditional multipliers after gear is stable.
Stop when radius attributes are short or the Glyph targets an old tag.
Match the final tag created by the third variant.
Use a Glyph for tags retained by the base-game variant.
Glyph Upgrades in the Pit
Level priority Glyphs in a reliably cleared Pit tier.
Check clear time, deaths, upgrade result, and the next radius or effect breakpoint.
Do not level every Glyph evenly; focus on the few used by the finished build.
Stop when failures or long clears yield worse progress than a lower tier.
Overlap War Plans only when the selected objective includes the Pit.
Base-game-only builds use the same Pit upgrade decision.
Respec after Gear Changes
Repair overlap and gaps between gear and Paragon one change at a time.
Recheck activation, defensive floor, Resource uptime, multipliers, and Glyph conditions.
Change one board or one Glyph and retest against the same enemy and difficulty.
Stop when simultaneous gear, skill, and board changes hide the cause.
Do the final allocation after Talisman and Cube completion.
Use Paragon to fill roles missing from base-game gear and Aspects.
Paragon Boundaries
6- No universal board order or rotation is guaranteed.
- Old Glyph ranks, Nightmare upgrades, and board limits are excluded.
- Matching board names do not prove the route fits different variants, gear, or patches.
- Do not skip survival to imitate a finished route without its points.
- No permanent best Glyph, fixed DPS, or clear tier is guaranteed.
- Live node text, thresholds, and upgrade results are authoritative.
Baseline as of Patch 3.1.1
4- Paragon uses up to five boards including the starting board.
- Glyph upgrades occur in the Pit rather than Nightmare Dungeons.
- Class Glyphs and Legendary Nodes receive live adjustments and require weekly review.
- After Season Rank Paragon rewards, recheck unspent points and routing.
