MH Wilds Survival Skills: Stuns, Damage and Support

SHAREXFacebookLINE

Correction — September 10, 2026: We withdraw the recommendations to equip Health Boost 3 and a Vitality Jewel in Wilds, and the claim that Ver.1.021 unlocked Divine Blessing 5. Those entries do not match the Wilds skill data. This was a cross-game mix-up, not an established old Wilds build.

The database referenced below displays version 1.040. This page organizes confirmed skills by the problem they address instead of presenting an unsupported universal tier list.

Prevent follow-up hits during stuns

Stun Resistance reduces stun duration by 30% at level 1 and 60% at level 2; level 3 prevents stun. The previous 50% and 80% figures were wrong. The skill does not remove the damage from the attacks themselves, so you still need to recover and move out of danger.

Understand damage reduction

Divine Blessing is listed at levels 1–3, reducing damage by 15%, 30%, or 50% when it activates. Do not farm equipment for the withdrawn level-5 claim. Activation is probabilistic; a reduction percentage is not a guarantee that the next attack will be survivable.

Keep armor upgraded and recover health before taking another risk. A defensive skill supplements those habits rather than making every hit safe.

Match evasion support to the difficulty

Evade Window concerns invulnerability during evasion, while Evade Extender concerns distance. Do not assume they improve every weapon-specific counter or special dodge in the same way. If the problem is getting your weapon away before healing, consider handling improvements such as Quick Sheathe.

Choose one recurring failure to address, then test a single change against the same monster. This makes it easier to see whether the adjustment creates more safe opportunities.

Support nearby teammates

Wide-Range shares the effects of certain items with nearby allies. It does not make every healing item shareable or reach teammates at any distance. Check the item and positioning before relying on it.

Support players still need a safe opening to use items. Watch the monster as well as teammates’ health, and distinguish faster personal item use from the effect being shared. Do not use the old Vitality Jewel recommendation; verify active skills and levels in the equipment screen.
