WHY PLAYERS GET STUCK
The Emissary is a DLC entry point that appears in hubs separately from the main campaign. New players often wonder whether they should go there immediately.
WALKTHROUGH
- 1Talk to the Emissary at a hub
- ▸The Emissary appears in major hubs such as Devil's Crossing.
- ▸Talking to him starts the Forgotten Gods entry quest.
- 2Use the Emissary dialogue to travel to the Conclave of the Three
- ▸After the dialogue, you can access the Forgotten Gods hub: Conclave of the Three.
- ▸This unlocks FG zones, Witch God cults, and related travel NPCs.
- 3Choose a Witch God cult
- ▸Choose one of Bysmiel, Dreeg, or Solael.
- ▸This changes available augments, gear, and questlines.
- ▸Pet builds often look at Bysmiel, poison/acid at Dreeg, fire/chaos at Solael.
STILL LOST?
Entering FG early will not brick your character. If it feels overwhelming on a first playthrough, continue the main campaign and come back later. Pick the cult by desired augments/gear.
Cult choice affects build augments and gear; later this should be cross-linked from build pages.
