WHY PLAYERS GET STUCK
Early on, Aether Crystals can be confusing: they are not gems or normal crafting mats, but drops from crystal enemies/clusters in purple aether-corrupted areas.
WALKTHROUGH
- 1Take the quest from Kasparov in Devil's Crossing
- ▸Kasparov is the inventor NPC inside Devil's Crossing.
- ▸Take it alongside Barnabas's bag quest during the early hub cleanup.
- 2Collect Aether Crystals
- ▸Break Aether Crystal clusters and crystal enemies in purple corrupted zones.
- ▸You usually collect enough by moving northeast from the Lower Crossing Rift toward Burrwitch Outskirts.
- ▸If short, recheck the purple aether ground and crystal clusters northeast of the Lower Crossing Rift.
- 3Deliver them to Kasparov
- ▸Talk to Kasparov while carrying the required crystals.
- ▸Reward: XP and +1 skill point.
STILL LOST?
If you cannot find crystals, return to the Lower Crossing Rift and follow the road northeast toward Burrwitch, checking purple corrupted terrain. You cannot buy them from a vendor or blacksmith.
