New Enhanced Weapons Surpass Veteran Gear in Octopath Traveler: CotC

This is a summary article about Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent.
I've explored the strongest weapons.

As of March 1, 2020, the following series are considered candidates for ultimate weapons:

Veteran Series

（Obtained by "Win" from specific NPC interactions, or occasionally by "Entice"）

Innocent Series

　（Can be enhanced in Flamegrace）

Fenrir Series

　（Can be enhanced in Victor Hollow）

Tyrant Series

　（Can be enhanced in Doniesk）

Bonus: Stamp Kai Series

　(Can be enhanced in Nameless Town - base obtained at exchange shop)

Enhanced weapons that surpass Veteran gear have also appeared, making weapon enhancement more rewarding!
Let's take a look at each weapon's performance.

Veteran Gear / Veteran Series

A Veteran Sword is shown as an example. Their performance is significantly superior to weapons sold in regular shops.
You can always obtain one via "Win" from a specific NPC.
For subsequent pieces, defeating that NPC via "Entice" will rarely drop Veteran gear as an item.

Innocent Series

Introducing the Innocent Sword IV as an example. By using a "Veteran Sword" as enhancement material, you can create an Innocent Sword IV.
The same applies to spears, daggers, axes, bows, staffs, books, and fans.
In terms of performance, since it's used as material, it surpasses Veteran gear.
In the case of the Innocent Sword IV, when compared to the Fenrir (which will be introduced later), the Innocent has higher elemental attack and lower physical attack.
Its Grade is 3-8, while Veteran gear is 3-7, so it also wins in terms of Grade.

Fenrir Series

Introducing the Fenrir Sword IV as an example. By using a "Veteran Sword" as enhancement material, you can create a Fenrir Sword IV.
The same applies to spears, daggers, axes, bows, staffs, books, and fans.
The Fenrir Sword IV has high attack power! It boasts an attack power of 411, compared to Veteran's 366.
Similar to Innocent, its Grade is 3-8, surpassing Veteran gear.

Tyrant Series

Introducing the Tyrant Sword IV as an example. The Tyrant series has lower physical attack power than the Fenrir series and lower elemental attack power than Innocent.
What's noteworthy are its "Critical +30" bonus and its Grade, which is the highest at "3-9".
It's hard to say which is better based solely on attack power and critical hit chance, but since it affects both physical and elemental attacks, it's generally superior overall.
Also, from my experience, perhaps because of its higher Grade, the damage output seems higher.

Tyrant vs. Fenrir: Damage Comparison

Here's a simple damage comparison between the Tyrant Sword IV and the Fenrir Sword IV.
The character used is Fiore, and the enemy is a Snow Lizard. Although it's a rough comparison, the Tyrant Sword IV's higher Grade indeed results in higher normal damage. Additionally, the Critical +30 bonus noticeably increases the critical hit rate.

Bonus: Stamp Kai Series

While its overall stats are inferior to others, it has a 50% chance to restore 1 BP at the start of battle.
It might be useful for hunting Caitlyn, etc.? However, at higher levels, as BP increases via the Ability Tree, its advantage might diminish.
